Circa 2000: Leading some of the earliest efforts in commercial additive manufacturing, the LENS system opened manufacturing techniques allowing for gradient composites, controlled single crystal growth and internal conformal cooling passages allowing for both increases in operating temperatures and structural integrity in power generation and aircraft turbine blades.

Circa 1995: Novel high strength, light weight, and low production cost materials identified and introduced to manufacturing for competitive snowboards.

Circa 2013: Requirements management and early adopter engagement provided user juries allowing for rapid refining of a warfighter worn power and network bus.

 

SPO

Circa 2007: The increased threat of body worn explosives and other non-metallic terrorist threats to international air travel identified a weakness in airline passenger screening.  Our team worked directly with the emergency reopens teams at the Transportation Security Administration to identify requirements and deliver/deploy mobile whole body imagers in US and International Airports.

 

Talon

Circa 2015: The Talon robot, one of the workhorses of the counter IED fight faced an uncertain future with the drawdown in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Close cooperation with requirements developers, and congress resulted in Talon being selected as the single engineering robot for the US Army into the future.

 

Nike

Circa 1997: Working with Nike initiated early efforts aimed at mass customization to meet future market demands.
